Avocado Toast

Avocado Toast

I have been trying to hop on the avocado toast train for a few years now. I love avocados in guacamole or as a topping for my favorite Mexican dishes. However, it has always been a little bland for my taste when it’s on toast, even when it’s sprinkled with everything seasoning.

People seem to be obsessed with it. It has become so popular that restaurants have added it to their menus at a premium price!

Avocado is a superfood that has many health benefits. It provides the body with essential fats, vitamins, and minerals. In addition, a study found that people who eat an avocado every day could lower their bad cholesterol by about 13.5 mg.! These benefits are reason enough for me to try it and try it again.

I have been working on the flavors that satisfy my morning cravings, and I finally have an avocado toast that I not only will eat but that I enjoy.

I have found that I like the flavor of cream cheese on my avocado taste. So, therefore, cream cheese is the first ingredient that I spread on my toast. A must-have for my toast is meat, whether breakfast sausage, bacon, or even a slice of deli ham. My other go-to ingredients are thinly sliced onion, everything seasoning, and fresh lemon or lime juice.

There it is, my combination for a tasty and filling breakfast that I can eat every day. Of course, I can change it up a bit by adding a tomato slice, jalapenos, some arugula, an egg, or sliced green onions.
