Sugar Coated Pecans

Sugar Coated Pecans

Time is winding down, and although 2020 has been a stressful year, this has been one of the least stressful Christmas’ I have had in a very long time. I had always shopped early, looking for the perfect gifts. When the kids were small, I stressed getting the perfect Christmas card photo; I wanted my cards to be the first card that friends and family received. I could go on and on, but I’m sure you get the picture.

Christmas has been a bit different around our house this year. We have not spent hours upon hours shopping. We have made handmade gifts this year, and although I wondered if we could indeed do it, they are complete and beautiful! Honestly, I’m not sure I’ve ever been prouder of the gifts we are giving this year.

Now on to planning the food. I have my grocery list complete, and all that’s left to do is cook. I have made several batches of these Sugar Coated Pecans already this year. Everyone seems to love them, and they are super easy to make! With just a few simple ingredients, you can have these in the oven in no time.

Hi, I'm Amye. I started Not Just Sunday Dinner in 2011 after moving back to Georgia. I grew up in North Georgia and have lived in different parts of Georgia most of my life. After living in Florida for five years we moved back to Georgia in the summer of 2009. I've always loved Georgia, but now Florida holds a special place in my heart as well. I have been married for 26 years to a wonderful man, Greg. We have two children, Wes, 21 years old and a third year college student, and Savannah, 18 years old and a freshman in college. Greg and I have started "dating" again. Since the kids only want to see us when they need money
